• Utilization of organic chemistry and analytical techniques to create large and functional supramolecules, which have been featured in top chemistry journals (Angewandte Chemie Int. Ed. and Chemical Communications)
• Planning and completion of gram-scale syntheses (up to 14 steps)
• Method development for difficult separations using chromatography and other separation techniques
• Characterization of small molecules and large supramolecules using NMR, UV-Vis, and IR spectroscopy, as well as mass spectrometry, DLS, and DSC
• Thermodynamic and  kinetic analysis of inclusion complexes in solution and the solid state
