New Environmental Studies Students

New Students

Environmental Studies is the most amazing program at the University of Montana!

We are located in the heart of traditional Seliš-Qlispé (Salish) territory. A place inhabited for over 10,000 years by the Salish peoples. And we immerse our students in the region -- the good, bad & ugly -- from visiting national parks to superfund sites we emphasize community engagement & environmental problem solving.

Environmental Studies offers a B.S. or B.A. degree, a minor, certificates & internships -- that blend humanities, social sciences & sciences with professional skills.

Environmental Studies also offers focus areas that provide more in-depth mastery of environmental issues.

Please contact us -- either by email or calling -- & then contact admissions to get started.
