Join us at the Mansfield Library's Archives and Special Collections to learn more about the life of Plenty Coups, chief of the Ashalaho/Many Lodes of Apsaalooke/Crow tribe.

Anthropologists Aaron Brien of the Apsaalooke Nation will discuss Plenty Coups' biography by Frank Linderman, with an emphasis on studying and understanding Native American historical figures within their own culture. A selection of rare and unique Apsaalooke artifacts will also be available for viewing.
