UM Adds Color 3-D Printer for Researchers
The chemistry department at the University of Montana has added a new 3-D color printer. The device will help campus researchers visualize molecules, crystals and other structures used in their work.
Chemistry Assistant Professor Orion Berryman directs UM’s Small Molecule X-ray Diffraction Facility. He said full-color 3-D printers still are fairly expensive, and this might be the only one in western Montana.
