Computer Science

Sunday, July 29th, 2018 - Tuesday, July 31st, 2018

Age group: High School

The University of Montana Computer Science Department will be hosting a 3 day/2 night Tech Camp for High School Students (enrolled in High School fall 2018).

Campers will choose 1 of 3 tracks. Each track will consist of 6 sessions. A variety of topics will be offered. You do not have to have any experience to attend this camp. It is a great way to see what technology is all about! Campers will experience what it is like to be a college student at the University of Montana. Additional activities include a rafting trip, visit to the planetarium and hike to the M.

July 23rd - July 27th, 2018 9 am - 4 pm

Age group:  Middle School

Interested in learning more about your computer, how to program games and mobile applications? Spend a week this summer with experts in the Computer Science Department at the University of Montana to create interactive apps and games for phones, tablets and more. Explore the world of computer programming and discover the exciting possibilities of this ever evolving technology.

Mathematics

Girls Interested in Mathematics Camp gim summer camp at UM

July 23th-26th, 9 am-12 pm*

Age Group: Grade 5 & 6

Who: Any girl currently enrolled in Grade 5 or 6 that has an interest in exploring more mathematics.

Why: Because it's fun to be mathematically challenged!

Activities will focus on Geometry, Algebraic Thinking, Problem Solving, Statistics, and Number Theory

Camp cost: $75
