Sponsored by the Institute of Health and Humanities and the University of Montana, this day-long event aims to foster conversation and collaboration among the diverse collection of people working toward health equity solutions in Western Montana. Our goal is to envision a more permanent, stable collaboration in Western Montana.

Through roundtable discussions, breakout groups, and a networking lunch, we hope to foster a productive day of events that build on previous community conversations and work toward envisioning a future center for health equity. Janna West Kowalski, a Community Coach at County Health Rankings & Roadmaps, will make the keynote address. Local author Stephanie Land will read from her critically acclaimed forthcoming book Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and A Mother's Will to Survive." Attendees will be given time and opportunities to explore models of collaboration among professionals who want to explore the social determinants of equal health and wellness.
