GRIZ Battalion Fitness

Cadets in the Grizzly Battalion train using the Elite Tactical Athlete Program, developed to develop superior physical fitness.

  • Training is every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 0600-0730, and is offered as a class, MSL 106, to college students.
  • If you're up for a challenge, break off with Ranger Challenge.  This elite group of cadets train with CPT Pat Beckwith, a graduated Westpoint soccer player, and run all over Missoula. They also hike with their rucksacks and sprint up the "L", "M", and set fire trails.
  • Record Army Physical Fitness Tests are taken once a semester that consist of:
    • 2 minutes of pushups
    • 2 minutes of situps
    • 2 mile run
