Welcome to the 69th Montana Science Fair!

We are proud and excited to welcome so many of Montana's brightest young scientific minds to showcase their research projects.  They will join over 20,000 students since 1955 as Montana Science Fair alumni!

The Montana Science Fair is affiliated with the International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF) and is open to all Montana middle school (Division II, grades 6-8) and high school (Division I, grades 9-12) students.

April 4, 2024, Science competition, UM Adams Center

  • 1:00-2:00 pm - Round 1 judging
  • 2:00-2:45 pm  - student break and ribbon placement
  • 2:45- 3:00 pm - students return to Adams Center to view ribbons
  • 3:00-4:00 pm - Round 2 judging for all gold ribbon projects (Students who did not receive gold ribbons are free to explore campus activities.)

April 5, Awards ceremony (10:00 am), University Center Theater (also broadcast on Zoom)
