Dual BS/MS Track Degree Requirements

Undergraduate Degree Requirements

 (120 credits)

Students should use the undergraduate neuroscience degree catalog to guide their undergraduate course choices. Up to 16 credits in the undergraduate program degree requirements can be fulfilled with the 500/600-level Neuroscience courses. These 16 credits will also apply to the graduate program degree requirements.

Graduate Program Degree Requirements

(30 credits total)

Students must earn a grade of “B” in all courses below to fulfill degree requirements

Required Courses (8 credits)

  • BMED 661 Neuroscience I (4 credits)
  • BMED 662 Neuroscience II (4 credits)

Electives (at least 12 credits)

12 credits of Neuroscience or Neuroscience-related electives at the 500/600-level

Research (10 credits)

  • BMED 597 Laboratory Research (5 credits)
  • BMED 599 Thesis Research (5 credits)

Thesis

Student must complete a Thesis Project, the form of which is defined in conjunction with their faculty research mentor.
