Phi Beta Kappa Association of Montana

Who We Are...

Phi Beta Kappa is the nation’s oldest academic honor society. The Phi Beta Kappa Association of Montana, chartered in 1940, is one of the oldest PBK Associations in the nation. We reactivated our statewide Association in 2013 and we invite you to become a member.

The Phi Beta Kappa Association of Montana is a non-profit organization based in Missoula, Montana, and composed of Phi Beta Kappa members. We are planning to hold the third Annual Meeting, Reception, and Banquet for our revitalized Association March 16, 2015. These are exciting times, indeed! If you are a Phi Beta Kappa member residing in Montana, why don’t you join us right now?

What We Do...

We sponsor lectures, seminars, excursions, and other events which will help to fund scholarships and awards and provide an opportunity for you to meet other members. At our Annual Meeting, which is held every spring at the University of Montana, we plan our activities for the coming year and discuss our fundraising objectives for scholarships and Teaching Excellence awards. All activities will be announced in our E-Newsletters that are circulated to our active members. Since only current Phi Beta Kappa Association of Montana members will receive the newsletters, you will miss out on these events and the opportunity to support scholastic excellence if you don’t join.
