Application for Dr. Conway’s Lab

If you are interested in being a research assistant for Dr. Conway’s lab, please read the attached information and complete the online application form (see link above).  I am typically looking for students who (1) are genuinely interested in our lab’s research, (2) have an overall GPA of at least 3.00, (3) are extremely responsible, hard-working, and have a great attitude, and (4) are interested in going to grad school in psychology or related field (sociology, political science, business, etc.). 

If interested, please complete the online application and then e-mail Dr. Luke Conway at luke.conway@umontana.edu to make an appointment for a 15-minute interview in his office (Skaggs Building 239). 

When you interview, you must (1) print out the online form (if you are able -- if not, contact Dr. Conway before the interview) and (2) print out an unofficial copy of your transcript, and bring BOTH to the interview.  (The interview will be set up when you contact Dr. Conway).  In addition, although not required, it is recommended that you have one letter or e-mail of support (from other faculty, grad students, or employers) sent on your behalf to Dr. Conway.

Note: I communicate almost entirely by e-mail.  So if you plan to work in my lab, you must check your e-mail on a regular basis.
