Personal Summary:

I was born and raised on the Wind River Indian Reservation in west central Wyoming and am an enrolled member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe and a descendent of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe.  Outside of my academic work, I am partner in a family-owned white water rafting business on the Wind River Reservation, a fly-fishing enthusiast, a team roper, and a skier.  My wife and I are the proud parents of two active boys and can often be found on the soccer field sidelines on weekends.
