UM faculty, including many affiliated with the River Center, were recently awarded a $3 million National Science Foundation grant to develop a graduate training program on the food-energy-water nexus. (UM press release, Missoulian article)

UM River Center researchers participated in studies of the Condit Dam removal, White Salmon River, WA. Their findings have been published (Journal of Geophysical Research article). Their work included time lapse photography of the immediate post-removal reservoir erosion (time lapse video).
