Junior Programmer
The junior programmer works closely with other programmers on all phases of web application development and maintenance. Programmers also work with designers and assist clients on a regular basis. Common projects include designing and managing databases, and creating online forms. A training period will focus on skills enhancement, office practices, and web standards.
This is a great opportunity for long-term employment with practical experience.
Primary Qualification: Demonstrated ability to code in at least one language.
Other Qualifications:
- Experience with PHP and JavaScript.
- Experience with CodeIgniter, Git, and Bootstrap.
- Experience with markup languages (HTML and CSS).
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- The ability to communicate technical information in a clear and professional manner.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
A training period will introduce office procedure and allow time for skills enhancement.
Work study preferred
Hours: 12-17 hours/week (up to 29/week in the summer)
Must be registered for at least 6 credits
