Sociology Welcomes New Instructors

Sociology at UM is pleased to welcome three new instructors for Spring 2018. 

Blaine Bradshaw will teach SOCI 435: Law and Society online. Mr. Bradshaw is a practicing attorney in Drummond, MT and a UM alumnus.  He received an M.A. in Sociology from the UM Sociology department in 1998 and a J.D. from UM Law School in 2001.

A recent graduate of the M.A. program in Sociology at UM, Ally Guldborg will teach SOCI 423: Sociology of Corrections, also online.  Ms. Guldborg graduated in 2016 with a concentration in Criminology and has worked for the U.S. District Court, Probation and Pre-trial Services division in Missoula. She now lives in Billings. 

Alexander Castleton will co-teach SOCI 318: Sociology Research Methods with Prof. Dusten Hollist. A native of Uruguay, Mr. Castleton is a visiting Fulbright Scholar from Carleton University in Canada where he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Sociology, focusing on the sociology of technology.  While at UM he is working closely with Professor Emeritus in Philosophy, Albert Borgmann.
