Missoula Climate Potluck (second Saturdays)
a monthly gathering of folks concerned about climate and encouraging individual action such as a vegan diet. You need not be vegan to attend, but please bring only vegan food (no meat, eggs, dairy, honey). Allergy-friendly labeling encouraged. Recipes welcome. 2nd Saturdays at noon, at Unitarian Fellowship Hall at 102 McLeod.

Wilderness Service Trips
4 to 8 day trips throughout the summer of 2015. Mostly trail maintenance. No cost to volunteers.
Summer Wilderness Service Trips. Work with experienced field leaders to map weeds, inventory impacts, and evaluate wilderness condition of sites in the Northern Rockies. Learn about invasive species, native plants, and wildlife. Backcountry experience helpful but not necessary. Dinners provided, as is transportation from Missoula. In 1978, the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail was designated to provide for high quality, scenic, primitive hiking, horseback riding, and non-motorized recreational experiences, and to conserve natural, historical and cultural resources along the divide. Snaking 3,100 miles from Canada to Mexico, the CDNST is only 78% complete. The largest unfinished section is the Montana and Idaho section at only 58% complete! With dedicated volunteers and agency partners, Montana Wilderness Association is working to complete the CDNST.
