UM's Office of Career Services

The Office of Career Services at the University of Montana is an educational based department that provides services to assist students with career and education decision making.

The range of services provided can be used by prospective students, current students, and alumni. Our career counselors help students choose majors. We offer career-related assessments to help determine majors and careers that match interests, skills and abilities. Career counselors are available for resume, cover letter, interviewing, job search, and employment/graduate school application consultation and assistance. We also conduct career workshops and classroom presentations. We host several career fairs each year and manage Handshake, UM’s online recruitment system, which includes part-time, full-time and internship employment opportunities. Handshake is a free job posting system for current students and alumni. Check out our website for career-related events and resources, on-campus employer recruiting/interviewing dates, and much more!
