Behavioral Intervention Specialist                                                                                           2014 – 2020

Provided and implemented behavioral services to general and special education students with challenging behavior(s), which included implementation of behavioral programs; designing data collection systems and collecting behavioral data; providing facility wide behavioral consultation and technical assistance to interdisciplinary teams based on the principals of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and related intervention programs.

San Francisco State University, Psychology Peer Advisor,                                                   2017 – 2018

Assisted other psychology majors/minors to understand and complete their psychology degree requirements. Centralia Elementary School District                                                                                      2019 – 2020

Performed psychological and psychoeducational assessments and evaluations. Consulted and collaborated with teachers, families, administration, speech language pathologists, behavior analysts (SELPA), special education resource specialists, social workers, and other specialists on development and implementation of new mental/behavioral strategies and plans. Provided individual and group therapeutic counseling services using research-based techniques. Developed behaviorally-focused, outcomes-based treatment plans of care that address mental health, functional impairment, and co-occurring addictive or medical disorders. Observed, participated, and collaborated with preschool assessment team. Discussed observations, data, placements, and intervention plans with assessment team.

INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE

Whittier Area Cooperative Special Education Program (WACSEP)                                         2020 2021

Consulted and collaborated with seven surrounding school districts to conduct individual and multidisciplinary psychological evaluations. Including data collection, data analysis, observations, interviews, assessing, and report writing. Completed Educationally Related Mental Health (ERMHS) evaluations within their mental health department; including a team consisted of school psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, speech language pathologists, behavior analysts, program specialists, outside agencies/facilities, general and special education teachers.
