Environmental Studies 50th Anniversary

Reunite to celebrate 50 Years of the Environmental Studies Program at University of Montana, and to inspire the next generation of change makers.

Reunite. Celebrate. Inspire.

EVST’s 50th Anniversary Celebration has been postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

The event will be rescheduled as soon as we know it is safe to do so.

Please stay tuned.

Facing the Fierce Urgency of Now

We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history, there "is" such a thing as being too late. This is no time for apathy or complacency. This is a time for vigorous and positive action. – Martin Luther King Jr.

EVST’s 50th Anniversary gives us a chance to celebrate the program’s history and future. Alumni (both graduate and undergraduate programs), students, faculty, and friends of EVST will reunite and discuss, show and share stories about the impact EVST has had, and will continue to have, on the world.

The gathering will feature presentations by alumni, field trips in and near Missoula, and networking among alumni, students, faculty, and friends. Plus, we’ll have plenty of time to enjoy great food, networking, and dancing.
