Buddhism and Education in the Tibetan Himalayas Event

rigzin dolma, 6 years oldOn Thursday March 15, from 7:00-9:00 PM in room 103A, Liberal Arts Building (aka Eck Hall), UM's Global Humanities and Religions program will host an event: "Buddhism and Education in the Tibetan Himalayas." This will center on a film, "Journey from Zangskar: A Monk's Vow to Children," documenting a project led by His Holiness Geshe Yonten to bring universal education to children in one of the remotest regions of the Himalayas.
