Major Teaching Field of Chemistry

For an endorsement in the major teaching field of Chemistry, a student must complete the requirements for the B.A. degree with a major in Chemistry and gain admission to the Teacher Education Program (usually at the end of the student's sophomore year) in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Education and Human Sciences.

Minor Teaching Field of Chemistry

For an endorsement in the minor teaching field of Chemistry, a student must complete the requirements for a minor in chemistry and gain admission to the Teacher Education Program in addition to completing the requirements for their chosen major.
